The House overwhelmingly passed a nearly $40 billion aid package for Ukraine, answering President Joe Biden's warning that U.S. funding to the allied country was about to run out.
The legislation passed by a 368-57 vote and now heads to the Senate, where leaders in both parties have indicated they want to quickly get it to Biden's desk. It's a realistic possibility since Democrats agreed to Republican demands to strip $10 billion in Covid cash out of the deal.
