1,000 Ukrainian marines surrender in Mariupol, Russia says |
- Wednesday, 1,000 Ukrainian marines surrendered in the besieged southern city of Mariupol, according to Russia's defense ministry. Ukraine has not confirmed this. [Reuters / Pavel Polityuk and Oleksandr Kozhukhar]
