Image source Canva If the congressman you'd voted for only showed up for work (in person) to cast five votes in D.C. and then cast the other 120 votes by proxy while working another job, how would that make you feel?
That's the kind of choice Hawaii voters are facing with their Democratic leader, Rep. Kai Kahele.
Right now, his congressional salary is $174,000. His earnings for his other job were $120,000 in 2020.
So, what job has him so busy he can barely make it to D.C.?

Image source: Canva Who in the heck was sending human skulls into the U.S.?
That's a question our Customs and Border Protection officers don't yet seem to have an answer to after they discovered boxes of bones a few weeks ago.
Apparently, the skulls had been shipped from the Netherlands and were en route to Iowa when authorities got their hands on them in Chicago.
"Our nation's food supply is constantly at risk from pests and diseases not known to occur in the U.S. These significant interceptions... at O'Hare exemplify CBP's continued commitment to safeguarding American agriculture," officials said.
What else did they share about this mysterious shipment?

But 38% of Americans squarely place the blame on Biden's shoulders. Voters aren't fooled by the rhetoric being spewed by White House officials.
Biden can try to point fingers, but everyone knows that he's the reason our economy has faltered since he took office.
Gas prices are high because he destroyed our domestic oil production. And thanks to his obsession with spending the US into more debt, it will take years for the country to recover.

Image source: Canva It's been a bad week for JetBlue after videos went viral of passengers begging to get off of a flight recently.
Last Thursday, flight 1852 was traveling from Cancun, Mexico to New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport. The flight was seemingly smooth until it reached New York.
The pilot attempted to land at JFK on multiple occasions. One passenger on the flight claimed the pilot made four attempts to land and called off the landing at the last minute each time.
Passengers complained that the flurry of aborted landing attempts caused many to get sick. The sudden descent during the landing attempts followed by climbing altitude again multiple times even caused some people to faint, while some began having panic attacks.
The flight was eventually diverted to New Jersey's Newark Airport where it landed safely. But since the flight had to return to New York, passengers were held on the plane until they were cleared to attempt another flight back to JFK - and that's when all the trouble began.
