See a summary of key provisions.  Proposals include: Updating payment rates by 2.7% with estimated payments to increase by 1.5% after productivity adjustment Requesting comments on the IPF prospective payment system refinement analysis Applying a permanent 5% cap on wage index decreases We encourage you to review the rule, and submit formal comments by May 31, 2022.  Inpatient Rehabilitation Facilities: Fiscal Year 2023 Proposed Rule — Submit Comments by May 31 On March 31, CMS issued the fiscal year 2023 inpatient rehabilitation facility (IRF) prospective payment system proposed rule to update Medicare payment policies and rates. See a summary of key provisions.
