Today's date is what is considered a palindrome when it is written the way it would be in Britain. Basically that means that it looks the same regardless of the way you read it. It's also considered an ambigram, which means that the numbers look the same even if you flip them upside down. At least, that's how it works on a calculator.
Some astrologers are making some pretty big leaps as far as the bigger meaning of today's date: "You're expanding outward, bringing more elements into your sphere. It's an opportunity for those who choose to do so…"
"They're nearly always absurd from a scientific perspective," said one professor. "But they're great for illustrating how brains, people, groups and cultures work together to create shared meaning."
