"It had a toxic, a poisonous effect."   Officials are unclear how the drug made its way into the drink, but when authorities arrived on the scene over the weekend, people with cramps were reclined across the floor.    Eight victims were brought to the hospital and one man died, authorities say.    What else do we know about the strange incident?
