MedWatch - The FDA Safety Information and Adverse Event Reporting Program TOPIC: Deluxe Heat Therapy Massager by Wahl Clipper: Recall - May Pose a Fire Hazard AUDIENCE: Consumer, Health Professional ISSUE: Wahl Clipper Corporation is recalling all Deluxe Heat Therapy Massagers, Model 4212 because the connection between the massager and heat attachment can overheat causing smoke or spark, which may pose a fire hazard.  For more information about this recall, click on the red button "Read Recall" below. RECOMMENDATION: Discontinue use immediately.  If you own a Deluxe Heat Therapy Massager, contact Wahl Clipper Corporation  at 800-767-9245 or email at techsupport@wahlclipper.com. Wahl Clipper Corporation will facilitate the free return of your unit in exchange for a full refund plus an additional $10 for this inconvenience.  Health professionals and consumers are encouraged to report adverse events or side effects related to the use of these products to the FDA's MedWatch Safety Information and Adverse Event Reporting Program: Complete and submit the report online.
