Prada has had quite a ride in China in the opening weeks of 2021. The Italian luxury brand started the year by reporting a strong uptick in China sales, which have fully rebounded from their early pandemic lows. Then, a scandal involving the newest face of the brand in the world's largest luxury market threatened to overshadow the good news. But as Casey Hall explains, Prada has a bright future in China, particularly with young consumers, after a years-long strategic overhaul.
