Global Shares Mixed After COVID-19 Vaccine News

Global stock markets are mixed this morning after hopes for a potential COVID-19 vaccine only lifted a handful of regional indexes. 


Monday Moderna Inc (Nasdaq: MRNA) said it's coronavirus vaccine seems to be 94.5% effective. While the drug is still in its preliminary stages, it is the second time a company has released positive vaccine developments, boosting investor confidence that things could return back to normal. 


But we still have a long road ahead of us… 


In fact, even though Japan just reported that its economy rebounded in the third quarter, the country has yet to reach its pre-pandemic numbers.
