COVID-19 and Co-infections in Germany

In the European Journal of Clinical Microbiology, Kathrin Rothe, Dr. Med, et al evaluate 140 COVID-19 patients admitted to a German hospital from February to April 2020, finding that, among 50 patients admitted to intensive care units, 34% were co-infected with Enterobacterales species, and 18% had Aspergillus fumigatus co-infections.
