  • Application due dates for the Research With Activities Related to Diversity (ReWARD) program (PAR-25-117) are coming up on February 5 and June 5. This program provides funding for the scientific research and diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility (DEIA) activities of researchers who have a record of contributions to enhancing DEIA and who are not principal investigators on a National Institutes of Health (NIH) research project grant at the time of the award. The National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health (NCCIH) is participating in ReWARD; the notice of funding opportunity explains our areas of interest.
  • Applications for the 2025 Health Disparities Research Institute (HDRI) will be accepted between February 3 and March 10. The Institute will be held in person at the NIH campus in Bethesda, Maryland, from August 11 to 15. This unique program sponsored by the National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities is designed to support the career development of promising early-stage investigators working in disciplines related to health disparities science.
  • The video of the lecture "Building Healthful Indigenous Futures: Indigenous Science, Ways of Knowing, and Indigenous Data Sovereignty," by Dr. Gregory Cajete of the University of New Mexico is now available on NIH VideoCast. This talk was part of the NIH Tribal Health Research Office's celebration of Native American Heritage Month.
