Trump selects motivational speaker Scott Turner to lead housing agency 11/22/2024 08:10 PM EST President-elect Donald Trump has selected motivational speaker Scott Turner of the America First Policy Institute to lead the Department of Housing and Urban Development, the transition announced Friday. Turner, who is chair of the Center for Education Opportunity at the Trump-allied think tank and is a former professional football player, previously served as executive director of the White House Opportunity and Revitalization Council.
