Former Senator Antonio Trillanes IV has filed a second plunder complaint against ex-president Rodrigo Duterte and Sen. Bong Go for public works contracts worth P6.6 billion awarded to allegedly unqualified companies owned by Go's father and half-brother.

The murky paperwork behind Bamban, Mayor Alice Guo's background may cost her her job: The Office of the Solicitor General filed on Friday a petition seeking the cancellation of Guo's birth certificate, for ''violations'' and ''glaring inconsistencies'' in her public records.

Ban POGOs? Bulacan is leading the way, after the provincial board passed an ordinance to support an executive order issued by Gov. Daniel Fernando that banned their operation in the province  making Bulacan the "first province" to pass such an ordinance.

Inflation cooled to 3.7% in June, slowest in 4 months
