My Hit List to Start a Massive Weak of Earnings We have a monster week of earnings ahead, and it should give us some strong clues about the overall state of the economy.  In fact, here’s a link to the expected percentage moves higher or lower for the companies reporting this week.   I’m not particularly bullish or bearish right now… But I do have some stocks on my hit list to start the week! Financials (XLF) and Industrials (XLI) look good, and Consumer Staples (XLP) is starting to heat up.  Most of the Dow stocks are near all-time highs, but small caps are not participating in the rally we’ve seen the past week — which is not exactly a ringing endorsement for the market’s current strength.  On my hit list of stocks on my radar to start the week, let’s start with the shorts:    • CRC. • AMT. • DGX. • CHTR. • CIVI. • CRC. And my longs…    • CHEF. • FMX. • TKR. • XYL. • ESTC. • PGR. • HWM. • LLY. • COST. • AZEK. • DKNG. Keep in mind, I’m not buying or selling these tickers just yet.
