On Sunday, an unresponsive airplane flying over Washington, D.C., prompted military fighter jets to intercept the plane at hypersonic levels, causing a loud sonic boom heard around D.C. and Virginia, officials said. The plane later crashed in Virginia, and no survivors were found. The North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) deployed F-16 fighter jets to respond to the unresponsive Cessna 560 Citation V aircraft over Washington, D.C., and Virginia, NORAD said in a statement. The scramble was conducted by the 113th Fighter Wing of the D.C. National Guard, a U.S. official told local media. The fighter jets intercepted the Cessna at approximately 3:20 p.m. E.T. The pilot remained unresponsive throughout NORAD's attempts to establish contact, and the aircraft eventually crashed near the George Washington Forest in Virginia. A U.S. official shared that the F-16s did not shoot down the Cessna. (learn more) |

A new non-profit launched today that has a mission of pushing back on the left's "anti-ICE" movement that is trying to sweep the nation. Trump is being aggressively criticized by two former high-ranking staff members in his administration who are now competing with him for the Republican presidential nomination in 2024. On Saturday, former Vice President Mike Pence and former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley, who served as ambassador to the United Nations under Trump, gave interviews to Fox News in Iowa in which they criticized Trump. Ron DeSantis, governor of Florida, also criticized Trump for his remarks about the North Korean leader. Trump referenced an article in American Greatness about a North Korean official who was recently elected to the World Health Organization's (WHO) executive board in his statement. Dr. Jong Min Pak of the North Korean Ministry of Public Health has been appointed to serve on the executive board of the World Health Organization (WHO) until 2026. The communist state now has a vote in setting the organization's priorities thanks to its seat on the board. (read more) | |

When Warren Buffett speaks, ears should pay attention. It is impossible to dispute his success in the stock market, both personally and through his company, Berkshire Hathaway, and his financial advice is frequently timeless. However, attracting so much attention has its drawbacks. Buffett said that the "incredible period" for the American economy was ending at Berkshire Hathaway's annual meeting a few weeks ago in Omaha, Nebraska. Given the importance that people place on Buffett's comments, it is understandable why this remark caused many individuals to be concerned about the state of the American economy. A man in the United Kingdom shocked fellow motorists recently when he decided to stop at a convenience store and fill his car with gas. But when the man exited the vehicle to pump the gas, he was completely naked. He didn't even attempt to cover himself while he was in view of other people. "He was casual about it," witness Quin Kelly told the local news. But why was the man pumping gas naked, and why didn't anyone stop him? Kelly explained both to the media - and also shared pictures of the nude man pumping gas. (read more) |
