By 2025, nearly 75 percent of the global population — and almost all smartphone users — will be frequent AR users, according to Deloitte research conducted for Snap. What's more, Shopify reports that adding an AR experience to online paths to purchase increases conversion by 94 percent.
At a roundtable event co-hosted by BoF and Snap at The Hoxton in Paris, a group of industry leaders from Louis Vuitton, Jacquemus, Acne Studios, Paco Rabanne, Christian Louboutin, Longchamp, Maje and Dentsu discussed how to connect consumers to new forms of AR creativity, while investing in the channels and functionality that will actually drive the bottom line.
