There is buzz that ex-president Trump is considering Kari Lake for his running mate, but that doesn't guarantee the spot is hers. For the past few quarters, the energy markets have been largely calm. Prices have drastically decreased since the price of oil surged to $130 per barrel at the start of the Russia-Ukraine War. Nonetheless, it appears as though the oil bull market is going to resume. Oil prices appear to be breaking out after three months of trading in a narrow range. A rise in oil prices will have numerous important repercussions. There is more to it than just the equities of energy businesses benefiting from better margins from rising oil prices. A significant increase in oil prices will greatly impact the CPI and inflation. Energy price increases could cause inflation to spike, which would be exceedingly terrible for the market and for policymakers. On the other hand, a feedback loop might result driving up demand for energy stocks that have historically served as safe havens during inflationary periods. It's not everyday you find an exotic cat out in the wild in Ohio, but it's even more rare to find one high on drugs roaming neighborhoods in the state. Recently, a dangerous wild African serval was spotted in the Oakley neighborhood in Cincinnati, Ohio. It was spotted roaming the neighborhood and climbing trees, so wildlife experts wanted to trap it and transfer the cat to the Cincinnati Zoo. Servals are considered some of the most dangerous wild cats in the world, and one of the wildlife experts said it "could've shredded us apart and killed us" while they were trying to capture it. Thankfully, officials captured the cat without incident, but quickly realized the cat had drugs in its system. The local government has announced that two out of the four Americans who were kidnapped by gunmen in Mexico on Friday have been found dead. The two remaining survivors have since returned to the United States. The identity of the four Americans were revealed to be Shaeed Woodard, Zindell Brown, Latavia "Tay" McGee and Eric James Williams. McGee and Williams were among the surviving victims, however Williams is said to be seriously injured and receiving treatment at a hospital in Texas.
