An estimated 2.5 tons of natural uranium was stored at a war-torn site in Libya. Now that nuclear material has gone missing. At least that's what we're learning from the United Nations nuclear watchdog in charge of staying on top of these things. In response, forces allied with a local warlord fighting against the Libyan government in Tripoli say that the missing material has been recovered. U.N. inspectors haven't been able to confirm that yet. While natural uranium is pretty useless for energy production or building a bomb, here's how much the bulk material would refine down to in order to be put into production. (read more)

Well, last night Tucker was wrong about one thing. As you'll see below, the US has released footage of the moment the Russian fighter jet collided with our drone. But is that the whole story? Who knows... But one thing is certain: the support for the endless war in Ukraine is dropping the longer this conflict continues. On February 15th, there was a poll released that showed less than 50% of Americans supported the war. Nearly 30% were against it. That's a big change from the beginning of the war in Ukraine. As it turns out, the leading candidates for the 2024 GOP ticket feel the same way. And the Left is livid about it. Already, they're painting anyone who doesn't offer their full support for an endless war as a pawn of Putin. And the uniparty Republicans sound as if they'd like to escalate this war even faster. Just listen to what Lindsey Graham had to say. So, it's looking like you're headed for a hot war with Russia (and China) whether you want it or not... (learn more) |

The number of people who think House Speaker Kevin McCarthy is doing a good job is growing. A recent survey finds that 41% of respondents have a favorable opinion of McCarthy, while 34% hold a negative one. As a whole, this is an improvement of 6% compared to the previous week. And while only 17% of Republicans have a negative opinion of McCarthy, 62% hold a positive one. Compared to the same point in Paul Ryan's tenure as Speaker, this is a huge boost in his favorability. The same poll found that after Paul Ryan's first two months on the job, only 33% of Americans approved of his performance. So why is McCarthy suddenly popular? (read more)

Investors who keep their money in dividend equities typically behave more prudently with it. People frequently use their stock holdings' consistent dividend payments—often considered income—to satisfy this need. As a result, these investors continually invest in dividend companies with yields in the 2-4% region, which is generally regarded as a healthy level. Of course, there are many dividend stocks with yields outside of this range. High-yielding dividend stocks can be better for those with higher risk tolerance levels. These businesses have substantially higher risk profiles but frequently offer substantial rewards (if the individual investor is knowledgeable). Here are seven such high-yielding dividend stocks that are worth a look. (read more) |

Two anglers recently reeled in a great white shark, and the catch ended up being pretty rare. Dylan Wier and Blaine Kenny were the two lucky anglers who landed the unusual catch. Both were acting as fishing guides for clients when the two landed the massive shark. Both report that it was an uneventful trip until the shark snagged their line at about 4 am. Wier and Kenny said they both have caught numerous sharks before, but while reeling this one in, they knew something was different this time. They thought they landed a tiger shark initially, but once they brought it closer to shore, they quickly realized it was a monster great white. It ended up being a 10-11 foot juvenile great white, and both anglers were able to release it back into the ocean. But this is why the catch the two made was incredibly rare.

Donald Trump biographer Tim O'Brien says he believes the reason the former president may have paid off adult film actress Stormy Daniels was mainly due to him being scared of his wife, Melania. "I don't think he was only worried about his campaign potentially getting blown up. I think he was also worried about his marriage getting blown up," O'Brien said. And he's not the only one who thinks this. "He reserves — he listens to many of us, but he reserves fear for one person, Melania Trump," said former senior Trump White House aide Kellyanne Conway.
