According to two people with knowledge of the investigation, Attorney General Merrick Garland has tasked the U.S. attorney in Chicago to examine classified documents discovered at the Penn Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement in Washington. The sources claimed that roughly ten documents came from Vice President Biden's office at the center. Before the midterm elections, on November 2, Mr. Biden's personal attorneys discovered the data, according to Richard Sauber, special counsel to the president. According to a statement from Sauber, the records were found as Mr. Biden's private attorneys "were moving files kept in a locked cupboard to preparation to evacuate office space at the Penn Biden Center in Washington, D.C." The sources claimed that the files were stored in a folder that was housed in a box along with other unclassified materials. However, neither the contents of the papers nor their degree of classification was disclosed by the sources. President Joe Biden is facing questions about his handling of the classified documents. But the big question is: Does he have any answers? (read more) | |

The new GOP-led House has approved its first bill in the new session. And it's going after the IRS before they can come after you... The mission of this first bill is to claw back some of the funding designated to hire 87,000 new IRS agents. Republicans in the House of Representatives will vote on a bill that would get rid of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), abolish the national income tax and swap it with a national consumption tax. The House will vote on the reintroduced Fair Tax Act, submitted by Georgia Republican Rep. Buddy Carter. This bill aims to rein in the IRS, get rid of the national income tax and other taxes, and replace them with a single consumption tax. As part of the deal between House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., and members of the House Freedom Caucus, a promise for a vote on the bill happened last week. For Sunday's annual No Trousers Tube Ride in London, dozens of people showed off their underwear. Commuters rode the Tube without pants as part of the annual No Pants Subway Ride, a worldwide celebration that started in New York in 2002. The group's first excursion on the Elizabeth line was at this year's festival, which was the first since the epidemic started. Participants rode the Elizabeth line half-suited and booted, paraded over the Paddington concourse, and used escalators and ticket machines at stations without wearing pants. According to the Stiff Upper Lip Society, the event's goal was "to make people laugh" and "have fun." Therefore, the organizers urged attendees to wear humorous undergarments but nothing "that would disturb people." (read more) |
