This morning, Representative Kevin McCarthy joined Maria Bartiromo on Sunday Morning Futures. McCarthy warned Maria Bartiromo that if House Republicans do not elect him as speaker, they will lose the majority. Kevin McCarthy has also spoken out against tech corporations collaborating with Democrats to stifle American conservatives. "The difficulty here is we already had the primary. We've already made the decision, 85% of the conference. If people don't come along that's going to delay our ability to secure the border, to become energy-independent. A Georgia fugitive is behind bars after being on the run, and it's all thanks to his pride. The Rockdale County Sheriff's Office recently posted a "most wanted" list of criminals they were on the hunt for. Christopher Spaulding did not make the list, and apparently it did not sit well with him. When Spaulding saw the list come across his Facebook feed, he couldn't help but comment. "How about me," Spaulding asked on the post. "You are correct you have two warrants, we are on the way," the Sheriff's office replied to Spaulding's comment. Seven-year-old Athena Strand vanished from her home on Wednesday. Now a 31-year-old FedEx driver named Tanner Lynn Horner has been arrested and charged with her kidnapping and murder. Strand's stepmother reported the child missing on Wednesday after searching for her for an hour. Around 200 citizens came out to join the search, which covered 50 acres of land, for Athena. Wise County Sheriff Lane Akin revealed that the body of the young girl was found dead nearly 200 yards from her home. "It hurts our hearts to know that that child died. So much so that she is on her way now to the medical examiner's office and there's a Texas ranger in front of her, and there's a Texas ranger behind her. This community does not like losing our children. And we can see it because of all the people who came out and helped us throughout this ordeal," said Akin.
