New Orleans is now the deadliest city in America. In just the past few years, murders have risen by an astonishing 141%. Their current homicide rate is even higher than the one reported by Venezuela, the most dangerous country on the planet. But it isn't just New Orleans. Crime is rising across the nation. New York, Chicago, Portland, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and a host of other American cities almost seem to be competing for the infamous title. And all of these trends seem to have started rising sharply about two years ago. America has always had crime. That's what happens when people have freedom. They are also free to do the wrong thing. Even the horrifying thing. But something about this crime wave is different. Take a look at what I mean. (read more) | |

Recommended Link: Life in America is not as it seems… And thanks to recent unprecedented decisions by a strange force of unelected officials… Americans may now experience a level of financial insecurity and suffocation of freedoms bigger than the crisis of 2000…2008… and 2020 - COMBINED. Months from now we may look back to – this moment – as the end of the middle class. Stephen Roach, a former chairman at Morgan Stanley, says: "U.S. living standards are about to be squeezed as never before." Newsweek says: "[This] Will Be The End of American Freedom." And HuffPost says: "[This] Is Making The Rich Richer, and Leaving You Behind" But a new "boots on the ground" investigation reveals Americans will be forced to make a drastic decision… Become one of the 'new poor' in America… Or 'the new rich'. While everyone else could end up in "Permanent Recession". |

Pelosi isn't ready to support a Biden reelection bid in 2024, and it has plenty of political pundits on edge. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was asked on Thursday whether President Joe Biden should run for reelection or whether Democrats should support another candidate. She did not respond. That's odd, considering how much Pelosi loves to hear her own voice. The oldest president in American history, Joe Biden would turn 86 at the end of his second term. Across all polls, his job approval rating has long been below average. (read more) |

Not exactly two peas in a pod, Warren Buffett and Cathie Wood. They both invest in quite different ways. Buffett studied value investing pioneer Ben Graham. His portfolio at Berkshire Hathaway (BRK.A -0.98%) (BRK.B -1.02%) is stacked with shares of reputable, long-standing businesses. On the other hand, Wood enjoys purchasing shares of burgeoning businesses with potentially disruptive industries. But in a few instances, these two well-known investors agree with one another. Only these three equities are favorites of both Buffett and Wood. (read more) |

A man in Houston walked into a fast food restaurant with intentions of robbing the place, but he ended up leaving empty-handed. The bizarre situation unfolded as the man requested change for a $100 bill. When the employee behind the register turned around to ask the manager if they could give change for a bill that large, the robber pulled a gun on both of them. He informed both that it was his first robbery and demanded the manager to open the register and give him all of the cash inside. The manager refused to comply, so the first-time robber tried to negotiate with the manager. This is what happened next. (read more) |

Twenty-five-year-old Justin Washington received a sweetheart plea deal from Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg after he was accused of raping his teenage relative. After that, he went on to sexually terrorize five other people just a month later. Washington agreed in August to plead down to a charge of coercion and was promised a 30-day jail sentence and five years of probation. However, one week before he was set to be sentenced, he decided to go on a sex crime spree. Washington attacked four women and a man near a homeless shelter. He had no arrests prior to the string of sex crimes, but prosecutors say that climbed in an 18-year-old man's window, put his hands in the man's underwear and demanded money while he grabbed the victim's behind. After leaving the residence, he scaled a fire escape of another building and began to bang on the windows of an apartment belonging to a woman who was at home with her 9-month old. You won't believe what he did next. (read more) |
