Sadly, this isn't the first lawsuit that's been filed against TikTok over the deadly blackout challenge. What's worse is that it probably won't be the last, either. Lalani Walton was just an 8-year-old living in Temple, Texas. Arriani Arroyo was just a 9-year-old in Milwaukee. But those lives were cut tragically short when both tried the blackout challenge. Sadly, it was the last thing they ever did. What do we know about the case and who is representing the parents? (read more) |

The rest of the country stands by with their mouths open wide in amazement as a deli worker who was caught on video defending himself from an aggressive attack is being charged with murder. And it's all happening in good old NYC. Jose Alba is the deli worker's name, and at least Mayor Eric Adams is showing his support. "... as I saw it from the video, I saw a worker here, inside the store, following the law, and he should not have not been approached in the manner that he was approached, and I think it's time for New Yorkers and Americans to start standing up for people who follow the law, and that's what I'm going to do." What else did he have to say, and will these insane charges get dropped? (read more) |

Will Democrats seek to cut their losses before the election and remove Biden given the rising likelihood that the Republicans will sweep the House of Representatives and retake the U.S. Senate? Democrats run the serious risk of not being able to name the Vice President to fill the position left open by Kamala Harris if they wait until after the Republicans are sworn in to engineer Biden's retirement. Democrats must carefully evaluate the timing if Joe Biden is unable to finish his term and must retire or be removed from office under the 25th Amendment. (read more) |

Amber Jackson and her friends say they booked an Airbnb in Tulum hoping to have a nice vacation. When they arrived, they say there were mysterious splatters of paint on the door that resembled blood. After contacting the concierge, who assured her it was just paint, the group decided to stay at the rental.
