I don't know about you, but I can see some potential political dangers and reputation fallout for making a political party or a company rallying around freely killing children while they're in the womb. It seems like a pretty tricky platform to build the future on. So, while we are constantly barraged by companies that are falling all over themselves to financially reward women who want abortions, I thought we'd look at things from a different perspective. After all, like Tucker and many other conservative favorites are quick to remind us, we shouldn't be all that surprised that companies want to reward women for not starting families. But I am pleased to learn that one company out there is taking a different approach. Instead of paying for out-of-state travel for abortions, this company is rewarding families for choosing birth or adoption instead. Who is it and who will be the next to make this brave move? In a recent survey, an amazing 85% of Americans believed that the nation was going in the wrong direction. Only 14% of respondents to the AP-NORC poll believed that the nation was moving in the right direction, a dismal finding for Democrats wanting to retain control of Congress in the upcoming midterm elections. From 29% in April to 21% in May and 14% in June, the proportion of Americans who are hopeful about the future of the nation has progressively declined. Additionally, the survey revealed that Americans' opinions of President Joe Biden were getting worse. (read more) |

A hockey-loving couple in Denver, Colorado got the surprise of a lifetime when the real Stanley Cup was delivered to their house. Kit Karbler and his husband Dmitri Rudenko had been watching the recent Stanley Cup Playoffs and rooting for the Colorado Avalanche. The pair were elated when the team won, but little did they know the excitement that awaited them several days later. Both were at home when the Stanley Cup's famous Keeper of the Cup Philip Pritchard delivered the cup in a case. An arrest warrant for Carolyn Bryant Donham has just been found in the basement of the Leflore County courthouse in Greenwood. The warrant was found inside a folder that had been stuffed in an unmarked box by a team from the Emmett Till Legacy Foundation. A then 21-year-old Donham falsely accused 14-year-old Till of whistling at her and also attempting to grab her hand and waist inside a store. Days after the accusation, Emmett was kidnapped from his relative's home and severely beaten and mutilated before he was shot. After that, a large metal fan was tied to his neck and he was thrown into the Tallahatchie River. Donham's husband Roy Bryant, and Bryant's half-brother, J.W. Milam, were both tried for the crime, but were acquitted by an all white jury. Later, they both admitted that they killed Emmett. Here's what the newly found warrant reveals and what could happen to Donham, who is now in her 80s. (read more) |
