Peter Anthony McGuire has pleaded not guilty to charges including rape, kidnapping and sodomy for torturing a 22-year-old woman for six months. His neighbors on the other hand say they have often heard chilling screams for help and loud banging noises coming from the private investigator's home. One neighbor even posted about the noises on an online platform, soon learning she wasn't the only one who heard them. "Another neighbor that reported some banging on the wall, and he called police because he could hear the banging and he could hear screams for help. I think some people were too scared to say something, or maybe they did call the police. But the police didn't do anything about it," the woman revealed. Neighbors say they had been hearing the noises since the beginning of the year but that the cops said there was no "substantial evidence" to perform a welfare check at the home. Here's what the Chino Hills police have said in response to the claims regarding the incident. (read more) |
