Here in America, we're feeling some pain at the pump. There have even been whispers that on the east coast, diesel rationing could become a thing. But however bad it is here, it's nothing compared to what the people of Sri Lanka are currently facing. "At the moment, we only have petrol stocks for a single day. The next couple of months will be the most difficult ones of our lives," he said. While there are some stop-gap solutions in the works that could tide them through the next few days, petrol shortages aren't the only crippling issue the nation currently faces. (read more)

It appears that the universe has had enough of Hillary Clinton's "alternate realities." After two years of development, the Hillary biopic Rodham (based on the novel by the same name) won't be getting another second or dollar of Hulu's time or resources. "Rodham is a nauseating, moving, morally suggestive, technically brilliant book that made me think more than any other in recent memory about the aims and limits of fiction," Annalisa Quinn wrote for NPR in 2020 about the Curtis Sittenfeld novel. And that was one of the better reviews. She had me at "nauseating"… (read more)

The judge presiding over Hillary's attorney Michael Sussmann's case is severely compromised. This is already evident in his behavior. But here's the lowdown and his connections to the Clinton gang. Both Judge Cooper and Michael Sussmann worked for the Department of Justice. Cooper disclosed the potential conflict of interest when he was appointed as a judge in the Sussmann trial, in case the Durham prosecution wanted him to disqualify himself. For some strange reason, Judge Cooper was not asked to remove himself by Special Prosecutor John Durham. The fact that Attorney General Merrick Garland presided over the judge's wedding is more bizarre. These facts alone should raise a few eyebrows, but the judge's recent behavior immediately exposed his actual prejudice (read more)

Florida man is back again, and this time he has his sights set on President Joe Biden. According to law enforcement officials, Jacob Philbeck, 29, of Pinellas County, was consistently misusing the 911 emergency call system. Philbeck made a series of 911 calls last week and repeatedly asked police officers to arrest President Joe Biden. The man did not say why he wanted the president to be arrested, but he was painfully insistent on making sure it happened. In addition to wanting the president locked up, Philbeck also insisted that former drug kingpin Joaquín "El Chapo" Guzmán should be freed from prison. Police warned Philbeck that he was using an emergency line for non-emergency purposes, but apparently, he didn't heed that warning. After continued calls, police showed up at Philbeck's in the middle of one of his calls to 911. This is what happened next and what police officers feel prompted Philbeck to make the calls in the first place. (read more)

Jessica Jaeger and her husband Dylan Heiner spotted an unusual animal dashing down a busy road in Montana. Jaeger said they had no idea what the animal was because of the way it was running, so they decided to investigate. The animal then ran out of a neighborhood right into a cemetery. They ended up getting a glimpse of a rarely seen and elusive animal, a wolverine. Sightings of these animals are especially rare in populated areas. Jaeger and her husband did their own research to determine what they saw was in fact a wolverine, adding that the sighting felt special for the couple. Wolverines were nearly extinct in Montana in the 1900s, but their population has since grown (read more)
