Image source Canva Just after midnight on Tuesday, Rio Grande Valley Sector Border Patrol agents, working with the Texas Department of Public Safety, spotted a group of more than a dozen crossing the border near the town of Roma, Texas.
They were carrying bundles that the agents and officers suspected contained marijuana.
They were right about that and later determined that the street value of the haul was about $93,000.
But that wasn't the surprising find they made during the bust.

Authorities say that her mission began when she was notified that someone stole her bank account information and was using her card at a gas station.
She sought video footage of the suspect, and then returned to the scene of the crime, hoping to catch him in the act. What happened next?

Image source: Canva A Chicago-area car dealership was left in ruins after a vandal decided to wreak havoc on most of the cars on the lot.
According to the Honda dealership's general manager, more than 80 cars were severely damaged when someone decided to smash windows, windshields, and other glass on the vehicles. The lot was left littered with glass and debris after the vandalism.
To make matters worse, the vandalism comes at a time when car inventory is still low and vehicles, both new and used, are hard to come by. Some of the damaged cars were also there for service appointments, which means there were some pretty upset car owners when they went to pick up their vehicles.
Surprisingly, this isn't the first time this has happened at a dealership in the area, as others have complained of cars being vandalized, but this is the worst of the cases reported so far. Were police able to finally nab the suspect before they were given the chance to strike again?

Image source : Canva One of the lead detectives working on the 2016 high-profile Sherri Papini case said he felt immense pressure to find her alleged abductors. Papini, the 34-year-old mother of two, had disappeared while out for a jog and told authorities she'd been kidnapped at gunpoint by two masked Hispanic women.
"I shop here, I've lived here all my life. There was a weight, for sure, because people wanted answers, and we had a community to protect. There wasn't a day or a week or a meeting, family get together, or department stuff that myself, as well as many other detectives that were known for being on this case [were asked], 'Hey, what's going on with Sherri's case?' And it was like, 'We're working it and hopefully we'll get some answers.' It was a daily reminder," said Captain Brian Jackson.
Papini was found wandering around on a highway around 4 a.m. 22 days after she'd gone missing. She was covered in bruises, burns, and rashes and was emaciated. Her hair had been cut off and she had a chain around her waist and she had been branded on her shoulder.
So, what clued investigators in that Papini was never actually abducted and that she had faked it all? According to a 53-page document, this was the telltale sign that caused Papini's story to ultimately unravel.
