Radio host Glenn Beck, for example, speculated on his morning radio show: "I think they're trying to roll out an international currency… probably an international digital currency." He's an angel investor with deep ties in Washington D.C. and a long list of contacts with cryptocurrency expertise. When I asked him about a digital currency in the United States, he told me: "All the evidence points toward one logical conclusion: a digital dollar is coming… and it will replace paper money in the near future."
