this is essential to powerful chart trading

Hey There!

Yesterday as I was going through my charts during my mentorship program, I noticed a stock that might be forming a new uptrend.

And I thought that would be a great opportunity to show you a possible uptrend in development, so you can see how they grow.

How to Pick the Best Stocks to Buy

Take it from someone who's been doing it for 20-plus years…

The difference between good traders and great traders is knowing which stocks to buy and when.

And Jack Carter, a veteran of 37 Years, wants to share a FREE eBook showing you exactly how to do it.

So, the key to identifying an uptrend is recognizing higher highs and higher lows.

Stock growth is almost never completely linear, as the bulls and bears are constantly at war with each other for supremacy.

So, when we are looking at a daily stock chart, you want to see the stock forming higher highs, meaning the high price on a day (the top-most end of a candle) is higher than previous days in the trend.

Then, you want to see a higher low as well, meaning the low price is higher than the previous days in the trend.

Let me show you what this looks like on the stock I was looking at yesterday, actually a fairly new stock, COIN (Coinbase):

As you can see, the price had settled up right around that 230 level, but in recent days it started to climb.

We've seen higher highs (with that one wick reaching almost as high as 290 or so) and lower lows (today's closing price was $256).

That could mean we're watching an uptrend start which would be a very good sign for the bullish momentum of this stock.

I hope that helps you see these things on the charts a little more clearly.

Happy trading!
