at Mar-a-Lago? Dear Reader, Despite the chaos surrounding the end of Trump’s presidency, he still retains the support of a large segment of his base. If you remember, in his farewell address, he told supporters, “I want you to know that the movement we started is only the beginning…” So, what’s the former president doing now that he moved back to his Palm Beach home at Mar-a-Lago? Well one thing we know is that he’s “quietly purchased” a $19 million complex on a tiny island off the coast… Early reports mention a massive barricade surrounding the property. But before we jump to conclusions… Other wealthy citizens appear to be doing the same thing… Buying property in remote locations while selling property in urban centers. The Wall Street Journal calls it “The new urban flight.” CNN has labeled it “the diaspora of the elites.” Forbes noted that there is “an abnormally high percentage of emigration out of major urban centers.” And CNBC reported that empty apartment rentals in Manhattan have tripled.
