Private equity giant Apollo has made a bid to buy Verizon Media assets for $5 billion. It will rename the business Yahoo, and will continue to be run under its current leadership. Verizon (VZ) will keep a 10 percent stake in the remaining company. Verizon originally paid over $9 billion for the assets of AOL and Yahoo between 2015 and 2017, which became Verizon Media. | | | | • | Ethereum Hits Record High
Ethereum prices topped $3,000 over the weekend, hitting a market cap of $367 billion. The cryptocurrency has now risen 325 percent year to date, far outpacing the returns on Bitcoin.
