While Tesla makes the most electric cars in the world, they don't make very many cars overall.

And while they're growing, that buildout requires capital and time.

Although Tesla's new plant construction projects in Austin, TX and Brandenburg, Germany are being completed relatively quickly, Elon Musk warned it would take somewhere between one and two years to ramp them up to full capacity.

If I'm investing in this space at this particular time in the market, I'd prefer to own a company that has already built to scale.

A Flag is a technical charting pattern that looks like a flag on a flagpole and suggests a continuation of the current trend. Flags are areas of tight consolidation after a sharp movement in price and typically consist of between five and 20 price bars.
