I'm a writer, performer, and photographer who has been in NYC my whole life (we don't count the two-year stint in a suburb of Philly). I'm a triple-Taurus (which doesn't make me *as* stubborn as you might think) who loves beach days, Thai chicken wings, bougie hazy IPAs, and cozy oversized clothes. What? I said I'm a triple-Taurus!

A little on the strange-niche side, but this Stick and Poke Tattoo Kit helped me to 1. scratch the tattoo itch I get every three months and 2. feel more in (control of) my body at the start of the quarantine. This kit comes with everything you'll need to SAFELY tattoo. It's a meditative practice for the brave of heart. They even have YouTube videos answering FAQ's and demonstrating each step of the stick-n-poke process, so you never feel alone or out of your depth.

A "Regrets" Hoodie from Hayley Elsaesser — $44.44

On one of my many mindless scrollings of le Instagram, I saw one of my favorite writers wearing this hoodie in black and absolutely had to get it for myself. The way it harkens back to my "Rugrats" days in a fresh and fun way (read: incredibly 2020 vibes) made it an immediate wardrobe booster.

The Klean Kanteen — $19.95

I am not a very athletic person, so getting a water bottle meant for those who play sports? Yeah, it was an impulse buy. But it's made WFH so much better! I tend to sit and write for hours at a time, so having this nearby means I stay hydrated all day. I also shoot live comedy shows and have to constantly walk around outdoor venues to get the perfect shots, and this definitely comes in handy. Plus, it keeps my water cold and fresh.

I first saw Bethany's work on an Instagram post she was tagged in. She had done some "Middleditch & Schwartz" embroidery, and since that Netflix show was one of the first things that made me belly laugh during quarantine, I wanted to get something I could look at everyday to remember that feeling. Now this (and a custom piece of "Avenue 5" embroidery art) hangs on my wall, and I love it!
