Quality over quantity is like my new mantra.  Not so long ago, I was constantly posting pictures of fast cars, stacks of cash, and beautiful girls. Honestly, a lot of my followers miss it ... To this day, I hear, "Come ON, Tim … just post cash, girls, and cars!"  Sorry ... it's just not me anymore.  First of all, I sold all of my cars to reduce my carbon footprint.  Second, I don't really feel like posting about girls or cars like I used to. It was pretty obnoxious. I came across as an arrogant jerk sometimes — I can admit it.  I'm all about being transparent, so I'm not gonna pretend those days didn't happen. I'm not gonna delete my old posts. A lot of students still find me from those posts … and some still use them for motivation.  But these days, my life has more meaning.  I want to change the world. And I want to continue to challenge myself and seek out new goals. At the same time, I recognize what motivates some students. They're the same things that used to motivate me.  If new students are motivated by those old photos, I don't necessarily think it's a bad thing.  For instance, one of my millionaire students found me because he liked my Lamborghini.  Another recent six-figure student found me through Instagram. He's been a Trading Challenge student for a few years now. I can almost guarantee it was one of those 'exotic locations with beautiful views' posts. Or some post with pictures of cash.   Dreams of luxury motivated both of those students. They found inspiration in the things you can do and buy with money. So I want to keep motivating people who resonate with that. At the same time, I have to pay attention to my personal development and growth. So I have goals as a teacher, goals for charity, and personal/life goals.   It's pretty simple. As a teacher, I want to… Inspire students to become self-sufficient traders. Change the world by teaching more people what it takes to become financially free. Change the world by getting more young people involved in taking care of the planet. But I can tell you that it's OK for you to change what you want. We all grow and evolve or we stand still.
