Tim here.  Life definitely has its twists and turns. I had no idea 20+ years ago that a challenge for charity could bring tears to my eyes.  My goal as a teenager was to get as rich as possible. I didn't know where it would take me — I just wanted to get rich.   When I decided to learn about the stock market, I had no idea I'd end up trading penny stocks. Actually, I started with high-priced stocks and got bored.  When I appeared on "Wall Street Warriors," people started emailing me asking to learn how to trade. I never expected to become a teacher. Again, I had no idea where it would take me.  I only knew that I wanted to expose the BS in my industry. And help people to achieve their financial goals through trading. The level of satisfaction I got out of it was — and is — amazing.  What I didn't know at the time was just how much I love helping others.  So a few years ago when someone challenged me to build a school for children in Bali, I gladly took on the challenge.  The amazing feeling that gave me… … seeing the look of joy in those childrens' eyes as their new school opened… … changed me. Forever.  And since Mat Abad and I started Karmagawa, it's only gotten better.  Our goal then, and now, is to use social media and our influence to create positive change.  When people buy Karmagawa merch it helps fund deserving charities all over the world. I'm grateful. And if that's as far as it went, it would still be amazing.  So I must admit, I didn't see THIS coming. Two newish Trading Challenge students took it a step further. They made a pact. A challenge for charity.  Thing is, neither of them is rich. (Yet.) So the pact is pretty incredible.   But the amazing thing is what happened after they made the pact.
