It’s Officially Christmas Season… Even in the Markets
I’ve never been on board with the “decorate for Christmas right after Halloween” crowd.

Maybe I like Thanksgiving more than most folks. I think it’s more that my family is of German ancestry, and Germans tend to start celebrating Christmas late, and keep it going well after Christmas day.

Whatever the case, the day before I went home for Thanksgiving, I put up all my Christmas decorations so I could come home to a bright and happy house. And I’m excited to get back there!

But it’s not just about tinsel, ornaments, and holiday lights. It’s Christmas in the markets, too.

And everyone will be focused on retail performance.

December has historically been one of the strongest months for market performance, and I don’t expect this year to be different.

With the excitement about new economic policy, the typical December seasonality, and hopefully a flurry of retail shopping, it should be a strong month.

But don’t get ahead of yourself! You’ve still got the weekend to enjoy! Hope you have a good one.

To your prosperity,
