- The next due date for new applications to the Research With Activities Related to Diversity (ReWARD) program is October 5. This program supports the health-related research of scientists who are making a significant contribution to diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility (DEIA) and who have no current National Institutes of Health (NIH) research project grant funding. NCCIH is participating in this program.
- The NIH UNITE initiative has published its 2023–2024 Progress Report. The report describes UNITE's progress in promoting equity in the NIH workforce and in NIH-supported research, as well as steps taken to elevate health disparities research across NIH Institutes and Centers.
