| Gap's Head of Creative on the New Linen Moves Campaign and the Team Behind It | Gap is in the process of reigniting its brand. Its recent spring campaign, Linen Moves, is a nod to its heritage and aims to tap into the strength of Gap's cultural voice again. To execute the campaign, Gap's creative team worked with its archive before collaborating with British music group Jungle and South African singer songwriter Tyla on a new video which celebrates self-expression.
Leading that creative team at Gap is Calvin Leung, who began his career at Banana Republic, before moving into merchandising and creative leadership roles at Old Navy and Yeezy Gap. "There's a difference between recreation and evolution," Leung told BoF. "What we are doing should feel familiar in the best way — all of the iconic codes that make Gap, Gap – but fresh and relevant for today."
Read BoF's interview with Leung to learn about how Gap is inspiring its creative team, fostering talent and evolving for the future. | | |
