The Biden administration's plan to allow a mass release of migrants into the United States was just stopped in its tracks. On Monday, White House officials lost the case in court yet again. For months, President Joe Biden has refused to meet Republicans halfway on the issue of lifting the debt ceiling. Then, House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R., Calif.) pushed Biden to negotiate and make deep cutbacks in spending. Magazine covers dubbed Biden the "calm man in the capital" and called him a "apostle of bipartisanship," acting as if Sleepy Joe pulled off the deal himself. According to the New York Times, the president's attitude to the discussions and, more specifically, their aftermath, represents fifty years of negotiating in the nation's capital. And the deal was another bipartisan success for Joe Biden, according to NBC News, who also hailed the debt ceiling agreement. It's obvious that despite Joe Biden's many mistakes, the liberal media is still trying to make him look competent. (read more) | |

Wall Street has rediscovered its enthusiasm for high-return, aggressive growth stocks following a harsh 2022. So far in 2023, equities with solid growth potential have performed significantly better than value stocks, and there is reason to think this trend will continue. The Federal Reserve's monetary tightening campaign, launched to contain inflation, was a significant factor in the exodus from growth stocks that occurred last year. However, there are indications that inflation is slowing down and that central bankers will be prepared to hold off on raising interest rates in June. A clear interest rate ceiling would be a significant upward stimulus for growth companies, even though there is speculation that the Fed may continue hiking rates later this year. Of course, anyone looking for the top growth stocks to buy must be aware of the risk that comes with them. (read more) |
