Shideh Majidi

MD, MSCS

Dr. Majidi is associate director of the Childhood and Adolescent Diabetes Program at Children's National Hospital in Washington, DC. Her primary clinical and research interests are in behavioral and psychosocial aspects of care in youth with type 1 diabetes. She has conducted NIDDK-funded research on screening of depression and suicidal ideation. She is co-chair of the RESCUE (Reducing Suicide Rates Amongst Individuals with Diabetes) Collaborative Community's governing committee.
