Market Review:

Won't Get Fooled Again Other than a great song by The Who, it's a great slogan. If you listened to the Street, everyone was expecting NFLX to hit the ball out of the park in the 1st Quarter. That expectation was delayed by NFLX. There is still a lot to be happy about if you are an investor when it comes to NFLX. It can be argued though, they didn't deliver as promised. It really comes down to the hype though. The hype on the 1st Quarter earnings raised the bar so high, that even a slight wobble was going to be seen as a disappointment. The earnings report itself was good, but not as strong as the hype suggested. An old adage for traders is to learn how the market can harm the most people. Some take this to mean, fade the street. I take it to mean, be wary. Understand when there is hype. Be prepared to act, both with the hype, and against it. Keep your eyes open and be nimble.
