Let Nurse Corps Pay for School! School is expensive; let the Nurse Corps Scholarship Program help! If accepted, we pay your tuition, fees, and other educational costs, plus a monthly stipend. In exchange, you would work at a critical shortage facility in a shortage designated area in a U.S. state or territory.  Nurse Corps Scholars make an impact in underserved communities throughout our nation. The Nurse Corps Scholarship Program application cycle will open soon! Prepare to Apply! Step 1: Determine if you're eligible.  You are a U.S. citizen (born or naturalized), a U.S. national, or a lawful U.S. permanent resident. You are currently an accepted or enrolled full-time student pursuing nursing education at an accredited U.S. school of nursing. Your classes begin no later than September 30, 2023. You do not have: any federal judgment liens, overdue federal debt, or an existing federal service commitment. Step 2: Learn how to apply. Review our application website. Subscribe to receive email updates. Step 3: Gather your documents. These include, but are not limited to, your: resume/CV; proof of U.S. Citizenship, U.S. National, or Lawful Permanent Resident status; current tuition and fee schedule; and transcript. Did you know? The National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Scholarship Program also provides funding to eligible nurses committed to serving in communities of need.
