A man accused of torturing a woman he held captive in Oregon and who was convicted in Nevada of keeping another woman in captivity is using dating apps to find people who can help him avoid the police or to find new victims. Benjamin Obadiah Foster is the subject of an intensive, round-the-clock search by police after a woman was found unconscious, bound, and near death in Grants Pass, Oregon, on Tuesday. She was hospitalized in critical condition. On Thursday night, Grants Pass police, sheriff's deputies, an Oregon State Police SWAT team, and federal agents raided a property in the unincorporated community of Wolf Creek, where they seized Foster's car and arrested a 68-year-old woman for hindering prosecution. Foster managed to escape. According to police, Foster "is actively using online dating applications to contact unsuspecting individuals who may be lured into assisting with the suspect's escape or potentially as additional victims." Here's everything you need to know about this startling development… (learn more) | |

There's a reason that Greg Gutfeld is wildly popular: not only is he hilarious, he asks all of the right questions. So, we shouldn't be surprised that he invited Mike Pompeo to join his panel to talk about his new book, Never Give an Inch: Fighting for the America I Love, and to answer a few questions. According to a recent report, Eric Gonzalez, the district attorney of Brooklyn, is investigating multiple allegations, one of which involves the forgery of election-related documents connected to the local Democratic Party. The City, a local media outlet, reported that the District Attorney's office was looking into allegations made by five individuals that their names appeared on petitions to remove candidates for Brooklyn Democratic Party positions from the primary ballot last June. The investigation also involves a claim made by a Brooklyn woman who says she applied to work at the polls and was instead told she had to collect signatures on petitions supporting party executives. Your 401(k) contribution limit may seem like a no-brainer decision. But it's also a challenging objective for an average worker to accomplish. If you're under 50, your 401(k) contribution maximum for 2023 would be $22,500. To achieve the maximum, you would need to make a catch-up payment of an additional $7,500 if you are 50 or older ($30,000 total). Perhaps you have enough money to fully fund your 401(k). Or possibly making these contributions would place a significant strain on your finances. In either case, maxing out your 401(k) may not necessarily be the wisest financial decision. Here are some things to think about. (read more) |

A pet fish is being blamed for running up its owner's credit card bill. Yes, a fish. And apparently it was all caught on live stream. The fish reportedly used the owner's Nintendo account through their switch console to make several in-game purchases. Funds were added to the owner's Nintendo Switch eShop account during the unexpected shopping spree by the fish. The owner says it was not supervising the fish at the time when the charges were incurred, but they were live-streaming the fish at the time for others to observe. But how was the fish connected to the Nintendo account in the first place in order to rack up all of the charges? Here's the surprising answer. (read more) |

Patrick Clancy, the husband of Lindsay Clancy, is asking for people to forgive his wife after she strangled their three young children before attempting to take her own life. Their 5-year-old daughter, Cora, and 3-year-old son, Dawson, were both pronounced dead at the hospital. Their 8-month-old child, Callan, was flown in critical condition to Boston Children's Hospital, where he died on Friday. "I want to ask all of you that you find it deep within yourselves to forgive Lindsay, as I have. The real Lindsay was generously loving and caring towards everyone — me, our kids, family, friends, and her patients. The very fibers of her soul are loving. All I wish for her now is that she can somehow find peace," Patrick Clancy wrote in an update on an online fundraiser on Saturday. Lindsay Clancy strangled her children and jumped out of a window after Patrick had left the home to pick up food. Here's what else Patrick Clancy has revealed about the tragedy, his wife's health condition and what will happen next. (read more) |
