A Florida woman is making headlines because she had to be rescued from a storm drain. Delray Beach police received a call about a person in distress while swimming in a canal. When they arrived on scene, they found a woman in the canal and asked her if she needed help. The woman ignored the police officers and intentionally climbed into a storm drain pipe. She refused to come out and crawled further into the pipe. Firefighters were able to contain her between two sections of the pipe and rescue her. But as if that's not bizarre enough, law enforcement officials say this isn't the first time the woman has been found in a storm drain. She has made headlines two other times for being stuck in a storm drain, and is said to have wandered the storm drain system for weeks on one of those occasions. (read more) |

The body of 43-year-old Jennifer Brown of Pennsylvania has been found after she was missing for over two weeks. Brown was reported missing after she did not pick her son up from his bus stop. She was last seen alive around 2 p.m. on January 3 by her friend and business partner Antonio "Blair" Watts-Richardson who says he took Brown's son to his house that night for a sleepover. "I put Noah on the bus the next day," he recalled. Brown's body was found wrapped in plastic in a shallow grave and authorities have not yet revealed the cause of death. Watts-Richardson is already trying to clear his name in the murder. Here's what he had to say about people already turning their suspicions towards him. (read more) |
