Rep. Katie Porter of California said Tuesday at a town hall event that Democrats want "honest" answers from President Biden about his storage of classified documents. However, just because she wants answers, that doesn't mean she's ready to cross the political aisle and join Republicans requesting records on the Biden document scandal. "I don't know if that document request – I have not reviewed the line by line of the request that Chairman [James] Comer made – but I definitely think we want answers. Classified documents belong in classified settings, and I think you heard me say oversight is not a partisan thing. Good oversight means you're willing to hold any rule breaker to account." So, what could come next? (read more) |

These Markets…Suck.
(For Practically Everyone Else) For Me, I’m Smiling Ear to Ear…Because I’m Among The Roughly 1% Of Investors Who Know Exactly How To Pull Massive Amounts Of Cash From Falling Stock Prices In fact, these market conditions are amazingly similar to those Nicolas used to turn $10k into $2.4 Million… And Ed, who turned $5k into $15 Million… No, don’t expect to achieve those results. These were best-case scenarios and quite frankly, I wouldn’t have believed them either had I not seen them for myself. But you can expect to learn exactly what Nicolas and Ed did to achieve these results, because I’m about to teach a limited number of investors (and hopefully, you). In fact, I’m going to show you an even easier way than Nicolas and Ed used to pull huge withdrawals of cash from the markets…and with lower risk. |

A storm is developing for the Biden family as a result of the recent secret documents affair. Hunter Biden presumably had complete knowledge of these records because his father withdrew them during his final days as vice president. These records assisted Hunter in identifying clients and securing transactions in Ukraine, China, and elsewhere. And Joe Biden benefited directly from these transactions, if he is "the Big Guy" in Hunter's emails. Joe can assert that he made a mistake by not safeguarding the documents when he took them. He can also assert that he was unaware that his son was secretly accessing classified material. But is anyone buying those excuses? Hunter is likely working on a deal right now that will shift the blame to his dad. This is the perfect out for him. (read more) | |

The Nasdaq Composite appears to be well on its way to entering a bull market after rising a robust 6% in the first two weeks of the new year. Additionally, recent events, such as solid holiday retail sales growth and a month-over-month decrease in the Consumer Price Index for December, show that the Street's concerns about the macro climate last year were greatly exaggerated. It's also important to note that several growth stocks have been receiving a bid this month as institutional investors seem to have internalized that the Fed's rate hikes won't continue indefinitely or cause a credit catastrophe. Due to these factors, it is a fantastic time for medium- and long-term investors to locate top Nasdaq stocks to purchase. Because of their very strong outlooks and compelling catalysts, these seven Nasdaq names qualify as "must-buy" stocks at this point. (read more) |

Police in Washington state said they have arrested a suspect who allegedly tried to abduct a barista through a drive-thru window. The Auburn Police Department released surveillance footage of the incident while seeking to identify the suspect. In the nine-second video, the barista can be seen handing the driver cash through the drive-thru window, at which point he grabs her wrist in one hand while holding an apparent zip tie in the other. The barista was able to break free, and the suspect then drove off. On Tuesday, the department announced that it had arrested a suspect in the case. (read more) |

A murder warrant was issued on Tuesday for Brian Walshe, husband of missing mother Ana Walshe. This news comes after authorities have spent over a week searching for Ana Walshe after she was last seen on New Year's Day. "The continued investigation has now allowed police to obtain and arrest warrant charging Brian Walshe with the murder of his wife," said District Attorney Michael Morrissey. Brian Walshe has been in custody after misleading investigators who were searching for his wife. He has pleaded not guilty to that. While it's not yet known what evidence has led authorities to think Ana Walshe is indeed dead, here's what has been found that points the suspicion at her husband. (read more) |
