A state board denied an appeal for $1 million in compensation for 52 prisoners who received six times the recommended dose of the COVID-19 vaccine last year. The three-member State Appeals Board unanimously rejected the claims from the prisoners who received the extra dosages in April 2021, which evaluates state legal and financial obligations.
