The New York City subway has claimed another victim. It all happened yesterday, just a month after 10 others were shot (and even more were injured) on a subway train. Witnesses said that the shooting that took the life of Goldman Sachs employee Daniel Enriquez was unprovoked. The Southern Baptist Convention has about 13,000,000 members, making it the largest Protestant denomination in the United States. This Sunday, they released a nearly 300-page bombshell report based on the findings of an independent investigation, and the shockwaves from the details of a sexual abuse cover-up will have a profound impact on every one of those members. There wasn't much of a silver lining contained in the pages which exposed the fact that leadership in the SBC kept a secret list of sex offenders while dismissing victims who brought their sins to light. Whenever Joe Biden opens his mouth while traveling overseas, he risks starting another major war. And his most recent stunt has White House staff walking back comments concerning an armed conflict over Taiwan.
During a joint press conference with Japan's prime minister in Tokyo, Biden responded to a question about US military intervention if China tried to invade Taiwan.
Biden boldly told reporters that the US would happily get into a shooting match with China if they tried anything. But the White House quickly assured the press that Biden misspoke.
I don't know what's going through Biden's mind, but it sure sounds like he's trying his best to start World War III.

Is the property market about to collapse? Most likely not. Let's get that out of the way first. While today's sky-high home prices are unsustainable, buyer demand has remained relatively stable in recent months, even as mortgage rates have climbed substantially. Moye met his bride, Valerie Williams, 84, at church about 23 years ago, but he didn't propose until this February. Moye married his bride on May 19, 2022, at Calvary Baptist Church in Cardiff, UK. This is the same church where the two met. "She's so so kind and giving you know," Moye said of his new bride. "I'm looking forward very much to your companionship." The two plan to honeymoon in Australia, where Moye, a former opera singer, is originally from. So, what did Moye say it felt like to be finally married at 95? (read more) |

Former British spy Christopher Steele relayed some interesting information in an interview with a talk radio show on Wednesday. "Our understanding is that there's increasing disarray in the Kremlin and chaos," Steele stated. Steele worked for many years in Russia, including heading up the spy agency's Russia desk for three years. While he doesn't cite his sources, he said he was fairly confident of his claims that Russian President Vladimir Putin's grip on power is fading and that he has to take regular breaks for medical treatment. "There's no clear political leadership coming from Putin, who is increasingly ill, and in military terms, the structures of command and so on are not functioning as they should," said Steele. He added that Putin is constantly accompanied by a team of doctors. Rumors about Putin's declining health have been circulating for several months. Recently Ukraine's head of military intelligence said that Putin was "very sick" while suggesting a coup was underway. There was also an in-depth investigation by an independent Russian outlet that revealed some interesting information. (read more) |
