| For an unprecedented number of kids among Gen Z, gender is a social construct that needs dismantling. According to Pew, Gen Z is the most diverse generation of Americans, ever. That includes their approach to gender and identity. Fifty-six percent know someone who uses a gender neutral pronoun. Fifty-nine percent believe forms should include options other than "man" and "woman." One in four Gen Zers expects to change their gender identity at least once during their lifetime.
