Image source: Ayman Oghanna for NBC News The Russian invasion has resulted in a max exodus of Ukrainian refugees. While we've heard a lot about Poland (which has taken in more than 2.6 million refugees since the war began) it's actually the nation of Moldova that has taken in the most fleeing Ukrainians per capita.
This may seem surprising, considering that the nation is not a member of NATO or the EU, and lacks the levels of space, resources, and support that some of Ukraine's other neighbors can boast.
But that hasn't stopped them, and refugees now constitute more than 16% of the country's population, according to numbers provided by the United Nations.
So, how is it all working out, and how does Russia feel about it, especially considering that they seem to have set their sights on Moldova for their next incursion?

Image source: Author's Log One might argue that there has never been a more difficult time to be a conservative in America. The dumb Democrats are in control on Capitol Hill and in the White House, and they have done nothing but make a mess.
Throw in outright censorship from the media, and social platforms that cater predominantly to the loudest leftists from the loony bin, and, well… It's been bleak.
But now, with the midterm elections a hop, skip, and a jump away, it looks like we finally have some relief on deck.

Image source: Chip Somodevilla/Getty Images Is there trouble in paradise for Biden and Obama? While the two politicians have always appeared to be best friends, new information calls that into question.
According to a forthcoming book by two New York Times writers, there has been noticeable tension between Joe Biden and Barack Obama, with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., even describing Obama as "jealous" of his Democratic successor.
Obama and Biden spoke via phone "occasionally" at the start of Biden's administration, according to the book, which will be released next Tuesday.
And, according to a Politico article from August 2020, residual tensions between the two leaders over their very different governing styles corroborate the charges in the upcoming book.
The former president is said to have raised concerns about the competence of his former running mate.

Image source: CNN The US Senate is thinking about retirement, and it's not because the average age of its members is 64. This spring, lawmakers received a slew of new proposals that could alter the way Americans save for retirement.
Experts think the plans have broad bipartisan backing and a clear route forward. President Joe Biden might sign the measures into law before Congress' August recess if Senators can reconcile their differing viewpoints into a cohesive package.
Here's a breakdown of the proposed modifications.

Image source: People Robert Feldman of Denver has been convicted of first-degree murder in the 2015 death of his wife, Stacy Feldman, and will now spend the rest of his life in prison without the possibility of parole.
Feldman staged the scene of the crime to make his wife's death look like she had accidentally slipped in the shower after she had confronted him about cheating on her with a woman from Tinder.
"This is all because you couldn't keep your pants zipped and agree to the divorce Stacy wanted," said Stacy's mother, Dorothy Malman during the sentencing. "If you really loved your children, you wouldn't have killed their mother. You wouldn't have taken their mother from them. The only person you love is yourself."
Stacy's "undetermined" cause of death was shrouded in mystery for nearly three years. Robert had said he found her in the bathtub unresponsive with the water still running when he came home. He then went on to collect a $750,000 insurance policy on her.
So, what do the doctors now say actually happened to Stacy?
