And while the jury is still out on if Sean Penn will actually smelt his Oscar statue, there's one thing we do know for sure - when Will Smith stormed the stage to smack Chris Rock in the face after a joke at Jada Pinkett Smith's expense, nothing else has been on anyone else's minds since.
When he was awarded his own Oscar for his role in King Richard, he apologized. Well, sort of.
What he really did was blame his actions on this.

By now, you've no doubt at least seen the headlines about Will Smith's breakdown at the Academy Awards last night.
Evidently, Chris Rock had made a joke about Smith's wife and her alopecia, which can cause hair loss.
"Jada, I love ya," Rock said. "G.I. Jane 2, can't wait to see it."
That's when Smith got out of his seat and walked up onto the stage to slap the comedian.
"Keep my wife's name out your ... mouth!" he said.
Not long after that, Smith was on stage accepting an award. How did he address his behavior in that speech?

According to this poll (which was conducted between March 18-22), his job approval ratings have now hit 40%, a big drop from his previous low of 43% in January.
At the same time, his disapproval numbers ticked one percentage point higher to 55%.

According to the salesman, a cyclist in town rides by the car lot each morning. Instead of minding his own business and cycling by, the cyclist reportedly spits on cars as he rides along his route.
The entire staff of the car lot has witnessed the odd behavior of the man and they say they have endured it for several months.
Tired of their vehicles being spit on each day, the sales team decided to take matters into their own hands, and one brave salesman was able to get the perfect revenge.
So what did the salesman do to the cyclist as he rode by unaware of the plot to get him back one morning?

He then proceeded to tell Chris Rock (with some expletives in there for good measure) to keep his wife's name out of his mouth.
"I'm going to, okay?" Rock replied, before going on to say, "That was the ... greatest night in the history of television" and presenting the award.
