Israel offers 4th coronavirus vaccine dose - Israel was the first country to approve a fourth booster shot against Covid-19 over the weekend, offering another jab for medical workers and people 60 or older four months after the previous dose amid surging cases of omicron.[Reuters / Maayan Lubell]
- According to a preliminary study by Israel's Sheba Medical Center, a fourth dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine produces a fivefold jump in coronavirus antibodies. [Washington Post / Steve Hendrix]
